America is full of beaches, with 30 out of 50 states featuring coastline. With so many beaches to choose from, ocean lovers are left wondering which one is the best. The team at Florida Rentals set out to answer that question by creating a scoring system to discover the 20 best beaches in America.
The criteria for scoring included weather conditions, water temperature, surfing conditions, the presence of a boardwalk, and crowd levels. While everyone will have their own criteria for what makes a great beach, these factors are among the most sought after by beachgoers. Based on scores, the team identified the top beaches with the highest scores as Laguna Beach, Monterey Bay, Panama City Beach, Destin Beach, and Santa Monica. Florida and California appear on the list most often.
