Do you remember your favorite childhood book? From classics like The Adventures of Pinocchio and The Tale of Peter Rabbit to more modern books like the Harry Potter series, children's literature holds a special place in people's hearts. Many parents pass down their favorite books to their own children to enjoy. The research team at playground equipment company AAAStateOfPlay.com looked at sales data for children's and young adult books through the years to see which books have sold the most copies through the years. The top book on the list is The Little Prince, written in 1943 by French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The book, which has sold more than 200,000,000 copies, has been translated into more than 500 different languages through the years, making it the most-translated book second only to the Bible. Next on the list is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which was published in 1997.
