If you had to guess which U.S. state poops the most, which would you choose? Our first guess would be Wisconsin, due in part from their love of cheese. And we all know the effect cheese can have on the body, especially in larger quantities. But if you had the same thought process as us, you would also be wrong. According to the results of a survey from All American Waste Services Inc. (AAWSI), it’s neighboring state of Michigan was found to poop the most. AAWSI surveyed a total of 1,277 Americans spanning all 50 states about their daily bowel movements to rank the states based on the highest daily average. So, how did our state of cheese-lovers fare in the ranking? Surprisingly Wisconsin landed at 37th on the list with just 1.485 poops per day. That’s even lower than the overall U.S. average of 1.598 bowel movements every day. That amounts to an average of 544.5 million poops taken in the United States every single day!
