You might have heard of the well-known brand Pepsi and, with that, other beverages like Diet Pepsi or Pepsi One. But there are many other PepsiCo items that you need to learn that this company owns. In this infographic by LLCAttorney.com, we will list some brands PepsiCo owns. Pepsi was created in 1898 by pharmacist Caleb Bradham. However, the recipe was later purchased by Wall Street brokers in 1931. Over time, the brand expanded. After the merger in 1965 with Frito-Lay, Inc., Pepsi-Cola was officially named PepsiCo. PepsiCo's main competitor is Coca-Cola, and there have been ongoing cola wars since 1970 with the brand.
Both brands have similar marketing tactics, such as for citrus beverages; PepsiCo makes Mountain Dew while Coca-Cola makes Surge. Both have made commercials for celebrities, but ever since today, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola remain competitors. When talking about the brands owned by PepsiCo, some of the beverages include Aquafina, Crush, Lipton, Muscle Milk, and Root Beer, while food has Lays or Munchies. These are only some of the brands owned or partially owned by PepsiCo.
