It seems like ChatGPT is bringing a new offering for its
subscribers for creating and managing chatbots. The update was leaked ahead of
OpenAI’s developer event, showing images and videos of a custom chatbot creator
tool.
More precisely, the reports show a ‘GPT Builder’ option that
lets users create their own chatbot by entering a prompt. The tool is speculated
to be a part of the new ChatGPT prototype ‘Gizmo V8.’
It includes two tabs: Create and Configure. The Create tab includes the options of selecting a default language, tone, and writing style for the bot. Within the Configure tab are settings for naming, describing, and providing instructions to the bot about what it can and can’t do. There is also an option of adding custom actions for the chatbot, as well as the ability to upload files for a bespoke knowledgebase, and toggle for web browsing and image generation.
Alongside the configure options is also a ‘Preview Pane’ where
the bot can be tested as it is edited, using a prompt box.
Moreover, it is speculated that OpenAI will launch a new subscription
plan with ‘flexible’ and ‘Annual’ options and features including unlimited
high-speed GPT-4 and lengthier context. According to the report, the subscription
is priced at $25 for a month.
