Everything We Know Yet about Humane’s Firsts AI Assistant Device – The Ai Pin - Visualistan -->

    Social Items

Humane prepares to launch its first wearable device, ‘Ai Pin’ on the 9th of November. The gadget has been recognized by Time Magazine as one of the best inventions of 2023. The Humane Ai Pin is an AI-powered device built on a mix of proprietary software and OpenAI’s GPT. It is designed to work independently, i.e., without the support of a smartphone or another device.

The pin acts as an AI-powered personal assistant that can be attached magnetically to clothing. It is capable of performing a range of functions, from asking questions and translating speech to making calls and sending texts, all with the help of voice prompts.

The Ai pin is equipped with a built-in camera that can capture items in your environment to provide contextual information about them, for example the calorie estimates for a particular food. The device also projects a tiny beam on a surface or the palm of your hand to visually display information.

One of the most prominent features of the pin is ‘Trust Light,’ which lights up whenever the device is recording data via its camera, microphone, or other sensors.

Humane still has a lot to reveal about its Ai pin, as we are unsure about how exactly the device works, the details of the tasks it can perform, and other usage specs. Looks like we’ll have to wait to find it all out on November 9.
