Microsoft Expands its Task Management App ‘Microsoft Lists’ to All - Visualistan -->

“Lists”, Microsoft’s task management app that was originally launched in 2020 to businesses and enterprise users, is now available to everyone who owns a Microsoft account.

On Microsoft Lists, users can create and manage their tasks such as tracking finances, creating recipes, listing gift ideas, and more. These lists can also be shared across devices with others who can view or contribute to them. To make them easy to import to other apps or services, lists can be exported to CSV files too.

Within the app are also ready-made templates that make creating the lists easy, configurable color formatting, and even the ability to create alerts and processes. The lists are displayed in a basic grid-like format by default including rows and columns, which can be changed to a calendar or gallery view as per the user’s need. Gallery view is typically helpful with lists that include images, while the calendar view would particularly help with highlighting dates.

Microsoft Lists is a free to use app, available on iOS and Android devices, as well as desktop. The service is also directly accessible within Microsoft Teams.
