Another leaked video of the Pixel 8 has recently surfaced,
along with the camera specs of the phone and new AI integrations.
One of the AI specs that has been revealed is called ‘Magic
Editor,’ that Google had earlier announced was going to be a part of select
Pixel phones. The feature works by allowing users to tweak their photos to make
them look however they like. For instance, a user could change the facial
expressions of people in a photo, making them look like they are smiling. Magic
Editor is also capable of moving subjects around in a photo, removing objects
in a background, and even changing the lighting in an image.
Next, the Pixel camera app will be equipped with manual
controls similar to those in a DSLR camera. These will replace the tap-to-focus
functionality with a focus slider and allow users to control the shutter speed
and ISO of their images.
The Pixel 8 Pro is also speculated to consist of an improved
camera system that features a new 48MP ultrawide camera with a 125.5-degree
field of view and a 48MP telephoto. Additionally, both cameras are reported to
come with a 50MP wide camera. Moreover, the Pixel 8 could be getting a the 12MP
ultrawide camera which is similar to the one from the Pixel 7 Pro, with the
field of view increased from 114 degrees to 125.8.
