To be eligible to participate in the program, a creator must
be a Blue subscriber or own a verified account, have at least 500 followers,
and have a minimum of 15 million impressions on their aggregate posts within
the last 3 months. Additionally, creators must have a Stripe account, since their
payments from X will be offered via Stripe. A creator’s payout will be generated
once their cumulative ad revenue share reaches at least $50.
To collect 15 million impressions on posts would require hard
work in terms of increasing engagement, especially because the program only
includes ads within replies that are shown to verified accounts. To achieve
this, creators are likely to post content that sparks quick engagement, such as
emotionally triggering, provocative, or clickbait posts.
