New Browser ‘Arc’ Rolls Out for iOS and Mac Devices

The Browser Company developed a browser called ‘Arc’ that became one of the hottest new browsers on the market. It has been created by Darin Fisher, a software engineer who has contributed to the development of some of the biggest browsers to exist, including Mozilla, Firefox, Chrome, and ChromeOS. After testing Arc for over two years now, and adding interested people in the waitlist, The Browser Company is finally rolling it out as an app.

 

Arc takes a different approach with the browser UI. Its most unique feature is a sidebar in place of tabs like in other browsers. Arc also provides plenty of personalization options, a picture-in-picture mode, and even built-in tools for taking notes, making shareable mini-websites, and redesigning webpages, among other options.

 

Arc has been updated to version 1.0 as it launches publicly. For now, the browser is available to download on Mac and iOS devices. While a Windows version of the app is not yet out, it is expected to be released as soon as next year. Arc can currently be accessed from arc.net.
