developed a new project that combines AI and AR, dedicated to retailers who can
use the service to earn from AI and AR shopping tools.
The AR Enterprise Services (ARES) by Snapchat provides
retailers with shopping tools that can be used to virtually try on products
like clothes, jewellery, makeup, etc. The integration of AR shopping tools in
ARES will facilitate retailers by increasing conversions and reducing return
rates.
One of the ARES elements, ‘Shopping Suite’ is a collection
of shopping tools for fashion, apparel, accessories, and home furnishings. Its virtual
try-on feature enables customers to try on various products by uploading photos
of themselves and checking their looks with the products in real-time. Another tool
offers fit and sizing recommendations based on a customer’s body size and
shape. The 3D Viewer tool makes the experience even better by enabling shoppers
to explore various angles and details of products.
Moreover, the Shopping Suite consists of the Enterprise
Manager Backend system, which enables retailers to use Snap’s software
development kits to build their AR experiences, as well as monitor real-time
performance analytics. Businesses like Goodr, Princess Polly, and Gobi Cashmere
have already signed up for ARES’ Shopping Suite and engaged with its features, according
to Snapchat.
