Well you don't want to live in the big cities of NYC or LA that's for sure. In Miami the average for a one bedroom apartment is just under NYC at $2,510. Following those two, Boston has the 3rd highest median rent for a single bedroom apartment in the US and Providence, Rhode Island comes in 4th on this list for highest rent.
