Reddit has brought a new way to interact within communities
to its platform by enabling image posting within comment threads.
Reddit’s chat threads are already engaging enough, thus being able to share your favourite images or memes will add more context and make conversations more interesting.
The image posting option, however, is not available to all
communities, as it is being launched to selected and approved subreddits initially.
Moreover, images identified as ‘not safe for work’ will be removed, as per
Reddit.
To share an image in a comment, you can turn on the feature and tap the image icon displayed at the bottom panel of the comment section. You will then be able to upload images from your desktop or camera roll to post in a comment. The feature also comes with an editing option for the Reddit mobile app.
