Have you ever worked the night shift? Typically, a night shift is referred to as being the third shift, and generally is seen as working a shift like 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M., or from 5:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. The team at NapLab analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey to determine which U.S. cities have the most people working night jobs. According to the data and the research, their team was able to determine that with 16.54% of the workforce actually working night shifts, it's Las Vegas with more third shift workers than any other metro area within the United States. The other areas of the United States within the top three for having the most night shift workers include the second-ranked Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario metro area, in California, where the data shows that 16.17% of workers are working night shifts.
