From the team at Kulick's French Toast Recipes comes this new infographic that looks at 28 different waffles from around the world. Several countries from around the world are featured on this, but perhaps the country that's most associated with waffles would be Belgium, which has more than a dozen unique types of waffles. There, Belgian Waffles are perhaps the most popular, as they present a tasty combination of light batter and large squares, and are typically covered with sugar, whipped cream and chocolate spread. Also in Belgium, another popular type of waffles would be Liege Waffles, which are sweet, dense, rich, and chewy waffles that have various chunks of pearl sugar, which caramelize on the outside of the waffles when it's cooked.
