Project management specialists are responsible for all facets of projects, in what can prove to be a very stressful role for anyone. So, how much do project management specialists earn on an annual basis? The team at FinancialForce recently used data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to determine which areas across the United States are the most beneficial in terms of wages for project management specialists. According to the data, it was found that the highest annual mean wages in terms of cities within the United States were San Jose, California ($133,950), Birmingham, Alabama ($130,250), Seattle, Washington ($125,330) and San Francisco, California ($124,430).
In fact, of the top ten cities where project managers make the most across the United States, these are the only four where the annual mean wage is more than $117,000. The state that pays the most for project management specialists in general was found to be New Mexico, where the annual mean wage is $123,160.
