The Telstar from Coleco came with just two knobs on each side. The first console to sell 2 million copies was the Magnavox Odyssey in 1978. It wasn't until 1983 that Nintendo launched the NES/Famicom that many older millennials will remember. That console sold 61.91million units and was so popular that Nintendo brought it back in 2016 with the NES Classic Edition and sold 2.3 million units.
