Video games have certainly come a very long way from the days of home consoles like Atari, Colecovision and Intellivision. Today, video games are a huge part of our culture, especially with the current generation of systems which sees Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo on top. However, there are some video game franchises and individual titles that have spanned several decades with their successful. The team at HP put together a list of the top 50 top-selling video games ever, and it was found that Mojang Studios' 2011 release, Minecraft, is the best-selling game of all time with 238 million copies. Other popular games in the top ten include Grand Theft Auto V, Tetris, Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Red Dead Redemption 2, games from the New Super Mario Bros. series, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
