Instagram is Working on Releasing Screen-Sharing Option for Video Calls

Instagram is currently testing the option of screen sharing for video calls. The feature is visible to some users on the app.

A blue button that says ‘start sharing’ is displayed on the video call screen. Once the button is tapped, the camera turns off and the user’s screen appears to the participants of the group call.

 

The screen sharing feature for video calls would be especially of help to marketers and brands on Instagram, as they can boost interactions with followers by highlighting products and services through screen-sharing.
