For people in the United States, plant-based foods and diets are becoming much more popular than ever before. This correlates with the fact that the consumption of beer in America is down, seeing a 12% decrease compared to last year. The research team at How to Cook recently polled American people via Google Surveys, gathering data to see how they really feel about meat consumption. Also, respondents were asked for their take on lab-grown meat, which has become a hot topic across the country.
According to the data, one in ten people who responded to the survey claimed that they would try lab-grown meat. It's believed that meat grown in a lab could help the environment by cutting down on greenhouse-gas emissions. In what way would you personally define your dietary preferences, and if you're an omnivore, do you have plans to switch to a plant-based diet in the future?
