Previously, Twitter users were able to share the Post Preview Cards of a post from Instagram on their feed. The feature was however removed from Twitter by Instagram in 2012 which left many people disappointed. But now, after quite a long wait and immense requests, the cards are finally back to being posted on Twitter.

Even though it’s not the perfect integration as you don’t get to post the entire image of Instagram post on Tweet but, this definitely will open more doors to the cross-app collaboration between the two most widely used social media applications.
If you want to share your latest Instagram post on the Twitter timeline too, you’re in luck: now when you share a link to an IG post in a Tweet, it’ll show up as a card with a preview of the photo.

Many people believe that the expansion of tappable Tweets or links could improve cross-app sharing. But, let’s not get greedy for now and be happy with what the two companies have brought to us after a long wait.
