Clubhouse’s closed captions are available in the English language only for now, but the company plans to launch it in 12 other languages, which it is currently testing in beta.
Clubhouse has been in a competition with Twitter, given the
rise of Twitter’s social audio feature Spaces, and is trying to maintain its growth
momentum. Clubhouse has especially been making significant progress in India,
which has become its biggest market based on download statistics.
While Clubhouse is still struggling to make its way through
the Western market, the platform still has multiple growth opportunities in
other regions that it can use to its benefit, hence ensuring long-term success.
