Currently, there are several top telecommunication companies in the world that are being widely used to connect people in the same country as well as borders apart. Every year, the brand value of these companies keeps fluctuating depending on the demand and usage.
As the infographic below shows, the telecom infrastructure Chinese-based company, Huawei leads the ranking and is valued at $55.4 billion. Ironically, this value was calculated after the company has seen a negative 14.9 percent decline in its annual year growth. Despite the decline, Huawei is currently the company with the highest brand value.
Cisco at the second is valued at $20.1 billion but again, the company has seen a negative 13.7 percent decline in the value as compared to that in 2020. Out of the top 8 telecom infrastructure companies mentioned in the chart, only two are seen to grow with a positive rate this year i.e., Ericsson and Juniper.
The past few months were very fruitful for the Swedish company, Ericsson as the tech giant recorded a net profit of $650 million. Moreover, the company has also made billion-dollar deals with other telco giants such as Verizon and AT&T for the equipment of 5G.
Ericsson recorded a positive 4.1 percent increase in its year-over-year growth whereas, Juniper Networks saw a significant increase i.e., 14 percent, and was valued at $1.1 billion.
