Be it an American or a person from any part of the world, September 11th, 2001, is an unforgettable date. Within just three hours, America’s tallest building collapsed taking the lives of thousands of civilians.
It has been two whole decades since the 9/11 incident and still whenever anyone speaks about it, the terror feels so fresh. The entire nation was shocked to the core and was not able to comprehend how such a massive yet coordinated terrorism attack took place on the soil of America.
In simpler words, the 9/11 attack is described as a coordinated terrorist attack that started with the hijacking of four commercial planes. Those planes used to fly into high-profile targets in Washington, DC, and New York City. A total of 19 hijackers successfully entered these planes with five in three planes and the remaining four in the fourth plane.
These hijackers made their way into the planes easily even through extremely strict security at the Washington, DC, Newark, and Boston. It all started in the early morning hours after 8 am and within 46 minutes, the first plane was crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
