In order to enhance your private interactions on the platform, the company has announced a couple of improved features. The features include options to share Tweets in private DMs.
However, the major addition is the capacity of Tweets that can be shared to different chats in Direct Messages at once. For example, the app will allow the users to share the same Tweet in up to 20 individual Direct Messages conversations, at once.
So, if you find a great mem that you want to share with all of your friends, just select their names and tap Send. This will not only save you time but also your efforts of sending the Tweet in each chat separately.
This new feature could benefit the business accounts as they can answer multiple clients at the same time. Moreover, if you run an online business and want to update your top consumers about the latest launches and promotions, just select the Tweet, choose the top contacts and send it to everyone in one go.
In addition to enhancing brand communication, this feature could be used for Spam purposes as well. This is presumably why Twitter has limited the feature to 20 conversations only.
Twitter will also roll out a quick scroll button to easily reach the latest message in the thread. The company also announced to change the display format for Direct Messages and rearrange these by date. If that was not enough, the social media giant is also adding double-tap for like and long-press for emoji reaction features.
These new features are expected to provide a refined experience in one of the most engaging social media applications.
