Covid-19 has not yet left the world, in fact, is gaining strength in the form of new variants. The entire situation has forced the world to once again imply the lockdown in several countries. Speaking of the travel bans, Asia has been pretty cautious to open its borders throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Around 31 percent of countries in the Middle East remain close which is half the number since September 2020. As for Europe, America and Africa, the figures are fortunately even lesser i.e., between 13 to 20 percent.
Around 34 percent of nations have restricted their borders from traveling globally. Whereas, only 1 percent of countries have opened their borders entirely without any Covid-19 restrictions. On the other hand, 36 percent of countries are allowing traveling under test on an arrival and quarantine basis. Lastly, 29 percent of countries have still implemented travel bans.
