If you want what's best for the planet, then it's important to understand just how environmentally friendly the companies that you support on a regular basis actually are. This infographic from SolarPower.Guide looks at what companies out there in the world today are using the most green energy to help the environment overall.
According to the data, which was taken from the Environmental Protection Agency, it was found that Google uses the most green energy overall, more than any other company (7,492,567,647 kWh from solar and wind). Other companies that heavily use green energy include Microsoft (5,982,112,000 kWh from small-hydro, solar and wind) and Intel (5,022,773,872 kWh from various sources). There are also companies that are committed to net zero emissions in the near future, including Verizon (net zero by 2035), IKEA (climate positive by 2030), Microsoft (net zero by 2030), Apple (net zero by 2030) and BP (net zero by 2050).
