Since the company keeps on growing, to capitalize on the surging user base, it has planned to open up a new local office in Australia. This office is also a new home to the fourth-largest regional audience on the platform.
In the past nine months, the company has also set up its new offices in the United Kingdom and Canada. According to Reddit, their user base in Australia has increased by a massive 40 percent year-over-year.
Moreover, an average Aussie spends nearly 31 minutes every day on the app which as per the company is a higher average time session rate as compared to Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter. The main topics of interest on Reddit among the Aussies include, cryptocurrency, gaming and entertainment.
The company has opened up its new office in Sydney. Here most of the focus will be on showcasing the potentials that Reddit communities hold and building strong connections with the local advertising companies.
