World’s most valued tech company followed a strong revenue in the last quarter of 2020. As the infographic shows, the company has dragged the momentum in 2021 as well. An iPhone maker on Tuesday reported that Apple has once again lashed out in every category. The company’s revenue has increased by 36 percent in the past three months ended June 26.
According to the chart, Apple has recorded double-digit revenue in almost every category with iPhone, Home and Accessories and Services and Wearables with 50, 36, and 33 percent year-over-year growth, respectively.
iPhone sales spiked majorly after the rollout of redesigned iPhone 12, Apple’s first-ever 5G phone. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said, “This quarter, our teams built on a period of unmatched innovation by sharing powerful new products with our users, at a time when using technology to connect people everywhere has never been more important.”
iPhone’s overall revenue accounted for half of Apple’s revenue in the previous quarter alone. The company services have now become the world’s second largest contributor, with a net income of $74.1 billion.
