As announced by the company, the users would be seeing ads on the Twitter Fleets, its disappearing tweets that are shown at the top of the screen to the users. Twitter rolled out its Instagram-like stories back in November 2020.
Now the ads that the social media giant allows to be shown in the Fleets can be either images or videos that too in the ratio of 9:16. However, the videos cannot exceed 30 seconds. Moreover, the brands can also add the “Swipe-up” option and like their page or website to it so that the users are redirected easily.
As the company reported in April, the revenue of its ads reached $899 million which is an incredible 32 percent year-over-year increase. Now, its new strategy for allowing the brands to run their ads is expected to add more numbers to these figures.
