Twitter has been working on some useful features with the sole purpose of helping users make more money online. The social media giant has rolled out a new creator monetization push that allows the users to apply to test the Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows feature.
Twitter wants to help hardworking content creators make money through their work and get rewarded for their efforts. Moreover, through these features, the creators would also have great support from their audience which will ultimately boost their confidence.
Currently, the company is allowing a small group of people to test out the two new options with their audience and share their experience and feedback. This will also help the company to determine whether these features require some sort of improvement or not before they launch these officially.
Twitter has shared some more insights into both of its upcoming models in order to provide the users with a clearer picture. Firstly, the Ticketed Spaces as seen above, content creators will be able to charge tickets from their audience that will provide them with exclusive access to the audio Spaces session. The ticketing options are several.
Super Follows on the other hand will allow creators to charge money from their audience and provide them exclusive access to some additional content such as live streams, newsletters, product discounts, etc.
Both of these features are a great push for online monetization and will facilitate more opportunities for the content creators on Twitter. Apart from this, these features will also increase the overall engagements on the platform by growing the audience significantly in the upcoming years.
