At the recent World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC), Apple revealed some very useful iterations of its major operating systems including macOS, iPadOS, watchOs, and the most important, iOS. The tech giant unveiled a bunch of new features such as, your iPhone’s ability to identify, copy and translate the text in images and a wide range of security features.
The latest version of iOS is all set to be launched this fall and luckily, most of the iPhone models will get to have the perks. According to the infographic, Apple has managed to keep many older models of iPhone in the loop of enjoying newer versions of iOS for a long time.
The iPhone and iPhone 3G got the two major iOS updates whereas, the later models received around five to six updates. iPhone 6S and 6S Plus had an iOS version when first shipped and now iPhone 6S, 6s Plus, and SE will become the first models to enjoy the seventh update. However, some tacky specs might not work on these older models.
