The Euro 2020 starts on June 11, Friday after it was delayed by the global pandemic of COVID-19. While fans all over the world do expect their team to win, here at CIES Football Observatory, a coefficient of team strength has been calculated by analyzing the player performance during the 2020-21 season.
Considering the stats and performance of each player, France is considered to be the favorite to win the final on July 11. Not to forget that France is the current FIFA World Cup champion. They currently have a coefficient of 1.29 of winning the tournament.
However, our analysis proves that either Germany or Spain can give the World Cup winners a tough time. France currently has been placed in group F which is called the group of death as it features Portugal and Germany so it would be tough for them.
