Apple has started conducting ground based survey in Poland
for its new feature for Maps called Look Around. The feature is meant to
provide a 360-degree panoramic view of a city or any location.
The tech giant revealed a list of countries, cities, and regions where it had started to conduct ground surveys for the feature. The list has been recently updated with a new country addition: Poland.
In an attempt to make features of Maps more widely
available, the company also began surveying Hong Kong last month. Apple’s
website shows a complete list of all the countries that it is surveying for
Maps.
According to Apple, its vehicle ground based research in
Poland will be carried on till August.
