Despite the predictions of world scientists that populations of countries would require at least 80 to 85 percent resistance in order to develop herd immunity, many countries including Israel developed it at a rate of 40 percent.
The entire world is in the race of getting vaccinated to step out of the pandemic and get back to normal days. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the whole world in ways beyond our imagination.
Surprisingly, many countries have gained herd immunity very quickly and have got almost half of the population fully jabbed against the virus. As the infographic shows, Israel leads the vaccination rate with 59.4 percent of its total population fully vaccinated against the virus.
Note that full vaccination here means that the individual has got both of their vaccines doses and developed resistance against the virus.
Followed by Bahrain on the second with half of its population fully jabbed i.e., 50.5 percent. Chile rounds off the third position with a full vaccination rate of 47 percent. The United Kingdom and the United States have also managed to get nearly half of the population vaccinated entirely i.e., 43.4 percent and 42.8 percent, respectively.
