The Global pandemic of Covid-19 shook the world to its core and authorities are doing their level best to secure vaccines and start the vaccination in bulk against this deadly virus. The web page ‘Our World in Data’ has been collecting the details regarding vaccination and the numbers showed that Israel has been racing ahead of the other countries with the highest vaccination rate all over the world. However, this has resulted in an increase in cases as well as overloaded hospitals.
Till May 10, it was observed that Israel managed to register a staggering 121.24 doses per 100 citizens with a total of more than 10 million. This has been the highest vaccination rate recorded so far. At number 2 we have the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with about 112.5 does per 100 people and Chile sits at the number 3 spot administering about 81.22 doses per 100 residents. Meanwhile, the United States of America has a vaccination rate of 76.95 per 100 inhabitants, which makes them sit at number 6 in the table.
Israel was the trendsetter of starting early vaccinations around the mid of December. Since then they have managed to vaccinate a massive 150,000 people. After negotiating early for the Pfizer and BioNtech vaccine in exchange for the medical data, Israel was successful in maintaining the healthcare and wellbeing of its citizens.
