It's the most popular brand in 44 countries, and the most popular car model was found to be the Toyota Hilux, as it's the best-selling vehicle in 14 countries. Not only that, but Yemen was found to be the country with the most Toyota cars on the streets, as they make up 93.9% of the market share in the country. In fact, the three most popular car models in the world are all Toyota models - the Hilux, the Corolla and the Land Cruiser. Other popular car brands across the world include Volkswagen (the most popular auto brand in 17 countries), and also Renault, Hyundai and Chevrolet, which are all the most popular in three countries each.
