Innovation and advancement in technology is something Google is known for. Google introduced their featured snippets in 2014 that were proven to be quite helpful and received plenty of positive messages and responses. Although, another new feature that users have found in Google is their ‘reading out loud’ option on a snippet.
Most of us wouldn’t have known by now about this feature because it has not been made available in every region. However, the question remains that why this feature hasn’t been replicated in other parts of the countries? A lot of people including us are eagerly waiting to test this feature out.
One thing that seems questionable is the benefits of this feature. Undoubtedly, it is a great idea and improves the overall search however the featured snippets do have the necessary information that playing it loud wouldn’t be compulsory.
Barry Schwartz who is the CEO of Rusty Bricks introduced the feature. He mentioned his concern about the availability of this feature in all regions and whether it would be a permanent feature or not. Only time would tell the answer.
