Lucky for us we have this awesome graphic from the team at Automotive Touchup which shows the world's most popular car colors as well as the states in the US. The favorite color across the board by far is one without any hue at all, white. The circle graphs on the chart show that white (with ivory included) rules in majority for every region listed. The top color for each state in the US changes between white and black, with the second most popular color being either red or blue (after greyscale colors are excluded. The rank of the world's most popular car colors are as follows:
