As time goes on, our planet will need to shift the focus more to renewable sources of energy, because fossil fuels not only harm our environment, but they simply aren't sustainable.This infographic from Solar Power Guide analyzes the number of solar installations around the United States, all to determine which states have the highest total of solar installations per 100,000 people. Across the country, the state that has the most solar installations is Hawaii with 6,403.31 per every 100,000 people. Other states that are in the top five in this regards include California (3,073.65), Arizona (2,290.62), Nevada (1,931.77) and Massachusetts (1,577.30).
This guide also shares information and data on which states have the megawatts installed, which would be California, which has installed 29,218.17 megawatts of solar. Despite Hawaii having the highest number of solar installations, the state doesn't even crack the top ten when it comes to the most megawatts installed, as the top set of this contains California, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona.
