The PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds (PUBG) is one of the most popular actions and battle royale games that despite having various strong competitors has grown incredibly and is still growing. However, another version of PUBG i.e., PUBG Lite was released for people who have storage issues since the actual app consumes enormous space on your device. Moreover, PUBG Lite was a free-to-play version that was launched back in January 2019 as a beta version in Thailand and then was expanded to Europe by October 2019. PUBG Lite was a lighter version with lower-end machines as compared to the original PUBG Mobile game.
The publisher of the PUBG game, Krafton has announced the closure of PUBG Lite worldwide by the end of April whereas, new downloads have been restricted since 30th March. Unfortunately, the reason behind the shutdown of PUBG Lite has not been disclosed yet but the publisher is extremely grateful for the amazing fan base of the game.
