According to it, the company has finally hit 478 million monthly active users which is a 30 percent year-over-year increase as the platform was a family of 277 million monthly active users during the Q1 of 2020. However, the user base of Pinterest in the Us increased only 9 percent in the time frame of a year.
Despite being a non-social media platform, with an incredible user base of 478 million monthly users worldwide, Pinterest has beaten Twitter, Reddit, and LinkedIn in terms of usage whereas, only Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are capable of beating Pinterest
As far as the average revenue per user is considered, it has also seen continuous growth with a booming increase in the international year-over-year figure by a huge 91 percent. Whereas, in the USA, it grew about a massive 50 percent and 34 percent globally.

Now for the overall revenue growth of Pinterest in a year, according to the company, Pinners that are more interested in shopping surfaces grew by almost 200 percent in a year whereas, the product search grew 20x times in the first quarter of 2021 as compared to the same time previous year.
