The Covid-19 disease has impacted the world severely since the end of 2019 and is still in its full wrath. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the data revealed that Covid-19 had become the third leading cause of death in the USA for the year 2020. As per the reports, around 3,358,814 people in the USA fell eternally asleep the previous year and the age-adjusted death rate showed that 828.7 deaths occurred per 100,000 people which is 15.9 percent greater than that of 2019.
According to the infographic below, with a total of 690,882 fatalities in 2020, heart disease is rated as the first leading cause of death in America followed by Cancer at second that had put 598,932 people to eternal rest in 2020. Other reasons for deaths caused in the United States are due to unintentional injuries, stroke, diabetes and more.
