Since the TikTok craze is still not over, in fact, more and more people are getting attracted to the short-video application. Facebook first integrated TikTok-like Reels in Instagram that gained great popularity and is now carrying out tests to check the options through which users can share their Instagram reels on Facebook.
Facebook did the assault on TikTok right after the company was banned in India in July 2020 due to the border tension between the neighbors, i.e., India and China. Facebook took the maximum advantage of the situation and gathered up as many TikTok users as possible by adding Reels to Instagram, which seems to be a pretty clever catch.
The option that will allow the users to share their Instagram Reels on Facebook will be made available in India. The social media giant Facebook has been testing out this feature for a few months. However, the feature was refined the previous month as highlighted by a user.
According to Facebook, this option will be currently available in India only but could be expanded worldwide. The company also believes that doing so would attract even the TikTok users to the extent that they might end up switching to the Facebook-owned Instagram since the platform offers better reach and options.
