It has been very long since the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the world. The majority of the world's parts were forced into lockdowns in March 2020; however, a few implemented lockdowns in May-June. Lockdowns in major parts of the world resulted in a decline in the world's economy, restriction to travel across the countries or even step out of the house.
Because of the strict restrictions, the people of the world have missed numerous important events and festivals. The first Covid-19 case appeared on December 31st, 2019, and since then, the world is suffering. Though the intensity of virus spread was reduced in the third quarter of 2020, due to which some nations lifted the restrictions partially, whereas many lifted them completely. Unfortunately, the world was hit drastically by a second wave which is still at its full pace.
The timeline of Covid-19 is pretty long, as shown in the infographic below. Not only does it reveal the events but also where and how the world started to get infected. Not that the world has been provided with effective vaccines against the virus, let's hope that the pandemic vanishes like it never existed.
