Some leaked images of how the new Android 12 operating system will look like were published by XDA-Developer. These images are from the “early draft” document that Google shared with its Android partners. However, it is not confirmed whether the new look of Android 12 OS will look like the rumored images or not. The leaked screenshots indicate some UI changes along with a conversation widget and privacy indicator.
But, if these shots are accurate, the significant change in the user interface will be rounded corners of the screen with some changes in the notification panel as well. The number of Quick Settings that users currently see in an unexpanded notification panel will also be reduced. Moreover, Google is expected to embrace a beige color theme as a part of the upcoming OS version.
The privacy indicator that could be a part of Android 12 OS is similar to that in iOS. This privacy indicator sends a warning notification in the status bar when an application gets access to the camera or microphone. According to the reports, loads of privacy settings could be included in the new OS version allowing the users to enable or disable the camera and microphone.
On the other hand, the conversation widget is claimed to be “a mandatory feature in all devices with Android 12 OS” by XDA-Developers. This widget will surface the recent messages and calls for quicker access.
The search engine giant has not yet disclosed anything about the upcoming Android 12 OS but will officially release the previews by March.
