To learn more about advertising jingles, their staying power and how people feel about them, Quality Logo Products recently surveyed over 700 United States consumers to learn more about their impressions of some of the popular advertising jingles of all time. 


The Advertising Jingles that Americans remember the best 


The first part of the survey from Quality Logo Products asked American consumers to rank the advertising jingles that were most memorable to them. Listed below are the 20 most memorable advertising jingles of all time: 

1. “Nationwide is on your side” (Nationwide insurance) 

2. “Ba-da-ba-ba-baaa…I’m loving it” (McDonald’s) 

3. “Riiiicccolllaaa” (Ricola cough drops) 

4. “Snap! Crackle! Pop! Rice Krispies!” (Kellogg’s Rice Krispies) 

5. “They’re magically delicious!” (Lucky Charms Cereal) 

6. “Uh-oh! Spaghetti-O’s!” (Campbell’s Spaghetti-O’s) 

7. “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there” (State Farm Insurance) 

8. “Mm-mm,good. Mm-mm good” (Campbell’s Soup)

As you can tell, many of these advertising jingles elicit strong response from American consumers. Many are both loved and hated, but also catchy and tough to forget. Many of these advertising jingles are from brands that are over 50 years old. Some of the advertising jingles themselves are several decades old, which just speaks to the power of these advertising jingles.

The next part of the analysis from Quality Logo Products provides a breakdown of how the various industries that were analyzed ranked against each other.
