We took a look at the recently generated statistics report across the biggest social platforms of this decade, and here is what we concluded:
Being the most trending and engaging platform of 2020, Instagram has become the ultimate resort for businesses to keep their engines running. The platform saw a whopping increase of 6.39% engagement rate in the previous year. The reports also show that the same year, the platform also lost posting frequency by 6.22% as business profiles turned their attention to story-related content. The industries that benefited the most through engaging a vast number of audiences are Politics, Education, and Airlines.
With a 75.14% frequency posting rate, Facebook observed an increase of 6.40% in its content posting. However, in 2020 the engagement rate among the industries declined by 0.26%. From brand engagement to community groups, this platform is equally famous for each of these industries.
Twitter, on the other hand, saw a major decline in its engagement rate, particularly in the area of industries. However, the platform’s engagement took a spike in the year 2020, unlike Facebook and Instagram, resulting in an increased 36% engagement rate. The industry that works best for Twitter is Politics, as it has the capability to strike a conversation.
