The tech giant company is establishing another headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, and the company has revealed the design of how the building of new headquarters would look like. The building is designed very creatively and differs from most of the standard buildings as it is a swirled tall standing building having trees all around it. According to Amazon, the design of the new tower is inspired by the natural beauty a double helix holds; hence the building is named "the Helix" by the company.
On the other hand, people resemble the corkscrew-shaped tower with a poop emoji. Amazon's Seattle headquarters has a similar structure where three round glass is connected, giving the tower a swirled look and covered with beautiful green trees all around. The tower is expected to stand 350 feet tall. Moreover, the company says that they will also allow general public tours in the new headquarters on weekends.
The area surrounding the helix is planned to have three buildings constructed, each having 22 floors. Moreover, between them, the company will create a green plaza along with a dog park where the general public will also be allowed. In addition, parking space for around 950 bicycles will also be made.
Talking about the inside of the giant swirled helix tower, there will be a massive workplace with various work environments for the Amazon workers. One can even hike up the building from the outside since there will be spiral paths loaded with local green plants.
The helix design – also being called a – poop emoji building is just a proposal by Amazon that requires local approval prior to the start of the building's official construction.
