The newly elected USA President, Joe Biden, is scheduled to swear in on 20th January, which is five days away from today. However, the majority of the Americans want former US President Donald Trump to leave the office before Joe Biden takes over. The infographic below shows poll results conducted by ABC News/Ipsos after the incident of the storming of the Capitol on 6th January.
As shown in the results, 56% of the Americans voted for removing current commander-in-chief, Donald Trump, from the office as soon as possible. Whereas 94% of the Democrats have the same response to the poll and want Trump to leave before the official transfer of power.
Surprisingly, it is founded by the poll that two-thirds of America’s population believes that the riot on Capitol must be equally blamed on Joe Biden. However, the Vice President of America, Mike Pence, is all set to try his best and force Donald Trump to leave the office immediately by invoking the 25th amendment. However, if he still doesn’t leave with that, Pence will move forward with the impeachment.
